Carrot Weather has recently received an update which makes it even more practical to check the weather. The best part of the update is the ability to change the colour of weather complications – users can also change between the actual weather, as well as what it currently feels like in the area. Extra data points can also be added, such as the UV index and the chance of rain, snow, sleet, all hail – these can all be entered in either large or small slots. Main features do require a premium upgrade, which is available via an in-app purchase whilst inside Carrot Weather weather.

The new 3-D touch features

Sometimes, swiping to bring up a day’s weather forecast can be time-consuming and inconvenient. Now, with the update, users are able to firmly press on the Carrot Weather icon on the iPhone and screen in order to get a quick glimpse of the current weather conditions. If a user wants to see more details about the weather forecast, they can press on it in order to view the full forecast. Of course, this feature will require either the newer iPhone models – the iPhone 6S or the iPhone 6S Plus.

When using Carrot Weather, users are able to unlock the six new secret locations. This is a great little easter egg, which encourages people to use the application even more than they previously had been.

Carrot Weather is available for iPhone, iPad, as well as the iPod touch – is also requires the device to be running iOS 9 or later. The application is $3.99, and is available on the App Store – there are also no advertisements in the application, so users don’t have to worry about any disturbances.
