Cultist Simulator Will Become Available for iOS & Android in Spring 2019

Weather Factory has just made an announcement that the classic cosmic card game known as Cultist Simulator will be hitting iOS and Android sometime this spring. This is great news because this game has become quite popular since it was released on the PC last year. We are excited to see what the mobile experience of this unique card game will be like on mobile devices. The developer even released a small teaser trailer and you can watch that below.

Cultist Simulator is a great game but it’s not a game that really fits into any category. It is a card-based game, but there are many other elements to this game too. You have a strategy aspect, a narrative-driven aspect, and it’s also part survival game.

There are horrors and adventures in the game too, which makes it a game that doesn’t really focus or follow one genre or another. Alexis Kennedy is known for creating Fallen London, so if you have played that game then you know what we are talking about with the many different elements.

More Cultist Simulator Mobile Game Details

We do have some more details about Cultist Simulator that we can share with you. You have to combine various action cards with character cards in order to unlock aspects of the game. Some of the action cards include Talk, Study, and Work. There are also item cards and location cards you will need to use in order to unlock elements of the game. These cards combined will unlock opportunities, some horrors, and also the new quests.

The basic premise of the game is that you need to select the origins of your character. You can choose things such as exotic dancer, detective, physician, and even just a socialite with no worries or concerns. You have to get into the occult while also maintaining your responsibilities of daily life.

There is a lot of great written prose in this game too, so there are so many elements that come together to make Cultist Simulator a unique gaming experience. You will have a lot of fun with the experimentation in the game and the possibility of death. Can you survive in the game to see the hidden gods and the various secrets?

Cultist Simulator Allows You to Establish Your Own Cult

One really cool aspect of this game is that eventually you can establish your own cult, hence the name Cultist Simulator. You have to be pretty good at the game in order to establish your own cult because it’s not as easy to do as you think. Playdigious helped developed the mobile version of the game, and pre-registration is already open on Google Play Store.

We also know from Weather Factory that you will be getting 30 percent off the price of the game on both iOS and Android during launch. That will mean you can get the game for $4.99 when it launches, as the normal price for the game will be $6.99. So if you want to save money on this game, then getting it when it launches is the best way to go.

In the comments below, we want to know if you have played this game on the PC yet. Are you looking forward to this game coming to mobile devices this spring? What did you like and dislike about the PC version of Cultist Simulator? Do you think that this game fits into any genre or do you think it’s too unique and odd to really fit into any one category?
