A ton of restaurant chains out there have a mobile app that allows you to order your food now. It appears Dunkin Donuts is adding another option for you with the integration of Google Assistant. Dunkin Donuts Brings Google Assistant Mobile Ordering to iOS & Android

The best news about the new mobile ordering option from Dunkin Donuts is that you can do this if you have Google Assistant on your iOS or Android device. As long as you have the Google Assistant app on your mobile device, you can place your mobile order and bypass the line in the store. You will quickly be able to walk into your nearest Dunkin Donuts location and pick up your mobile order, so you have the option to order as you are driving down the road if you want.

This new option will be available as long as you have a DD Perks Rewards account with Dunkin Donuts. There is also a special offer from Dunkin Donuts for the month of March. If you play an On-the-Go order, you will get double the points if you are a DD Perks Rewards member. This is just another enticement to get you to try out the new Google Assistant integration.

In order to use the new Google Assistant integration, you will need to first say “Talk to Dunkin Donuts.” From there, you must link your Dunkin Donuts account, and then pick the location you are ordering from. You can then choose from the orders you have previously made. After that, just confirm your purchase and you are all done.

The only bad part here is that you can not create an entirely new order using Google Assistant. A lot of the mobile apps that are using Alexa or Google Assistant do not have this ability. Dunkin Donuts will get sent this information, which means your order you not be made too far in advance. This new option will work for a ton of different items at Dunkin Donuts, including the breakfast sandwiches, coffee, baked goods, and the other beverages. You will be able to go to the front of the line in the store and not have to wait since your order should be ready for you.
