We have some great news for you if you are looking for a new educational app, because Duolingo has released the Tinycards app on Android. This is a flashcards app that will allow you to learn regardless of what you are trying to comprehend or understand. Since school has now begun in many states, this new Tinycards app for Android just might be exactly what you are looking for.

Duolingo Brings Tinycards App to Google Play Store

The really good news here is that the Duolingo app Tinycards has been released on Android. This is a free flashcards app that has been very popular since it launched back in 2016. Back in 2016, Tinycards was released to iOS, and then earlier this year a web version was launched.

Now, the Duolingo Tinycards app is available on Android. You might have heard about Duolingo before because it is one of the most popular language learning services out there. Tinycards is really the first time Duolingo has moved beyond the language learning service it is known for. The new flashcards app is amazing if you are someone who is looking to expand your knowledge.

As far as Tinycards is concerned, there are already over 200,000 different custom flashcards available in the app. There are topics from almost anything in this flashcards app, including history and world geography. There are even Pokemon and Game of Thrones characters in the Tinycards flashcards app. Tinycards utilizes the same functions and features as most other flashcards apps.

This means that it uses spaced repetition. The spaced repetition is how you will be able to learn, and there are also algorithms used to keep track of your progress. Duolingo has a pretty big user base and is known for having an international reach, which makes this new Android release all the better.

Duolingo Releases Tinycards Flashcards App for Android

Since Duolingo is known for having such a big international base, it makes the Android release a lot better. A lot of people, especially outside of America, have Android devices. Android is the most common operating system in other countries, so this new flashcards app is going to go over very well in the international markets.

This is all why when Duolingo released the iOS version of Tinycards first it was a shock, since most international markets are using Android. Even though it took Duolingo a little while, the Android version is set to have a much bigger library than the iOS version. When the iOS version was first released, only 50 different card stacks were available. Now we are looking at over 200,000 different cards available.

When it comes to why it took Duolingo so long to release the Android version, the company said that the team working on Tinycards was relatively small. It also took longer because the really good Android developers are busy and there are not nearly as many of the great Android developers out there. The company has also been very focused still on Duolingo, which is the language learning service.

That meant that the team could not devote 100 percent attention to Tinycards as it was more of a side project. There will be a Portuguese and Spanish version of this app coming too, which should be available in the next couple weeks. Until then, if you would like to check out the new flashcards app on Android in English, you can head to Google Play Store and download it right now.
