Currently, the Spectra 13 is the world’s thinnest laptop and despite that, HP has managed to cram in the Intel’s Core i-series of processors rather than the Core M, which is quite a feat. It easily has one of the most eye catching design in terms of looks. By considering the overall thickness of the HP laptop, the backlit keyboard has a fairly large and well spaced Chiclet keys that have good travel surprisingly.

From the little time we had spent with the laptop we felt that the keys feel comfortable and the trackpad works pretty well. The stereo speakers are on either side by Bang and Olufsen.HP Spectre 13 Keyboard

As everything is around the copper strip so there are not any ports on the side. In the HP laptop we have a total of three USB Type-C ports out of this, the two are clustered together to support the Thunderbolt so you can easily use the VGA, Ethernet and even HDMI connections with the adapters. In June, HP will be bringing Spectra 13 to India but we don’t know about the final price of the laptop. Anneliese stresses that India is the key market for the HP and that we are expecting more premium campaigns in the consumer space as well as business space in the months to come. The average power of a consumer is growing rapidly and HP wants to tap into the market in order to grow its business. HP will also be going to focus on expanding its Omen series of gaming devices.

  • FijiSun

This machine is a beast. It’s light and uses a FHD which is all you need on a 13″ machine. Anything more burns power and subject to scaling issues. It manages to run full i5/i7 in the thinnest form factor on the planet. And still manages to have 3 USB C ports and a excellent speaker solution. Hp’s got a winner here.

    • Really an amazing gadget.
      Truly a winner.
