Injustice 2 Beta Hits Steam Ahead of Launch

Nov 6, 2017

The Injustice 2 Beta has just hit Steam a week before expected launch. The new PC version of Injustice 2 was announced about a month ago. It will be on both the Microsoft Store and Steam officially on November 14. Ahead of the official release, the Injustice 2 Beta is now live on Steam. If you are into Steam or PC gaming in general, read on to learn about the new Injustice 2 Beta.

Injustice 2 Beta Released on Steam

It is good news that the Injustice 2 Beta has been released on Steam. This is about a week from the official release of the game, which is expected to be November 14. That is the same day that Hellboy will be hitting the game as well. The open beta version of Injustice 2 is now open to those on Steam. The developers put this into an open beta to ensure that the infrastructure is good on the PC version of the game. There is also testing going on with the networking coding, so there could be some glitches along the way if you download the beta.

Another downside to the Injustice 2 Beta is that the only multiplayer mode available is 1v1, so you are not getting a ton of action just yet. The good news is that the PC version of Injustice 2 is being developed in part by QLOC. This Polish Studio is known for working on many games that have come to PC, including God Eater and Mortal Kombat XL. That means we are probably in pretty good hands in terms of the PC version of Injustice 2.

Right now, Injustice 2 is on Xbox One and PS4, and it has had rave reviews from nearly everyone who has played it. The high reception of the game is important and it brings hope that it will translate well to the PC. If you are wondering, Injustice 2 was originally supposed to be a console-exclusive title, but it appears the deal got worked out for it to come to the PC through Steam.

Injustice 2 Coming to Steam November 14

While you might not have too much fun with the 1v1 multiplayer mode in the Injustice 2 Beta, just know that the full version will soon be here. Even though there are restrictions on what you can do in the beta version, all of the fighters and stages are available. This means that you can even use the DLC fighter Raiden in the beta version of the game. So that is definitely going to be a treat for those who want to explore Injustice 2 before the official release of the game. It is a bit sad that we will not see the story mode in the beta version of the game though.

As far as the Injustice 2 Beta goes, it will be open on Steam until November 10. That means you have a few more days to head to Steam and download the open beta. Once November 10 passes, you will have to wait until the release of the game on November 14 to play it. The download size itself is 31.8GB, which is not too horribly bad. If you have not heard anything about this game yet, check out some of the reviews of the game. The story mode is highly-acclaimed and is one of the best features of the game. Of course, you will have to wait until November 14, if you would like to see what makes the story mode such an amazing gaming experience.
