KeepSolid has launched a new VPN for iOS and Android called VPN Lite. This is a freemium VPN coming from the company behind VPN Unlimited. With this new app, you will be able to use the service without even having to register. If you are concerned with privacy, then you likely are using a VPN on your iOS or Android device. We wanted to tell you about the new VPN Lite app that just launched on both Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.

VPN Lite Freemium VPN Available for iOS & Android

If you have ever used VPN Unlimited, then you might want to check out the new freemium VPN from the same company. KeepSolid has just released a freemium VPN service for iOS and Android called VPN Lite. This is a new app that is a bit different from VPN Unlimited.

One of the biggest differences here is that you do not need to register in order to begin using VPN Lite right now. Another difference between VPN Unlimited and VPN Lite is that Lite is only for those on iOS or Android. As you might know, VPN Unlimited is a cross-platform VPN service.

If you have used VPN Unlimited before, then you know that it is not free either. Lifetime access for VPN Unlimited can run you $200 or you can pay $10 per month. VPN Lite is different than Unlimited since Lite is free, although you can upgrade to paid versions of VPN Lite.

So with the new app, you will have access to the free VPN services. The free plan is pretty basic, but it is cool because you do not have to register to begin using it. VPN Lite also offers you the ability to use the VPN services without getting advertisements.

VPN Lite is a Great Free VPN Option on Mobile with Only a Few Restrictions

One of the biggest restrictions when it comes to VPN Lite is that you only are able to access one server in the United States. For a lot of people, only accessing one server could be a significant downside. TO other people though, for a free VPN service that does not require registration it is well worth it to check out.

KeepSolid does seem to like to promote the paid services though within the app itself. What we mean by this is that you have an option to start your free trial of the paid versions of the app. It will offer you one week of the Premium version as the free trial offer in the app. You will need to look down at the bottom to see the free only VPN Lite option, so it is definitely not the center of attention.

If you do want to upgrade to another option there is also Turbo, which gives you more than 400 servers to choose from. These servers in the Turbo version come from over 70 different locations around the world, which is really a nice selection. You will also be able to choose your own VPN protocols. If you want to hide that you are using a VPN, there is the KeepSolid Wise protocol you can choose. This will add additional security to your mobile browsing, and no one will know you are using a VPN.

Free VPN Lite Option Great for Basic Security on iOS & Android

If you are looking for basic security while you browse the web on your iOS or Android device, then the free version of VPN Lite will work well for you. The free version will just hide your IP address and your location, which for a lot of people is really the main aspect to a VPN. If you are someone who has never experimented in the world of a VPN before, then the free VPN Lite is the best way to go. This will get you into the feel of what a VPN is and how it works.

Those without advanced knowledge might like to use this app since it is simple to navigate. When you first open the app, you want to ensure you click on the free only option to maintain the free VPN level. Another thing we wanted to tell you about is that VPN Lite allows you to download it onto multiple devices. Some of the free VPN services out there limit you to only downloading it onto one or two devices. KeepSolid launched this app with the ability to use it across multiple devices without ever needing to register, which is really cool.

If you would like to try out this new free VPN service, you can download it right now from Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store. Once you have tried out VPN Lite, we want you to come back here and tell us what you think about it. Are you someone who tries to go behind a VPN while on your iOS or Android device? Do you like how KeepSolid has built VPN Lite or do you think that it is merely a way to try to get you to sign up for the paid versions? Let us know in the comments below what you think of this app once you have tried it for yourself.
