According to some of the official changelog, the update was optimizing the logic of the SD card. It means that if you previously switched of the default storage device even after upgrading to Marshmallow then the application or the data that is stored on your SD card may be lost. So it is very necessary to definitely make a backup of your important data.
Lenovo also stated that the upgrade process will take a quite long time and the A7000 will restart several times during the upgrade. So if a screen appears of black color then don’t get scared as this is the process that might occur during the update process which is running in the background.
While upgrading to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is important to keep your phone running and make sure that the battery of A7000 is at least 50% charged before attempting to the new update because the update file is about 1.3 GB in size and it is delivered OTA.
In the update, not many things are known about the changes but yes many Lenovo A7000 owners are hoping that Android 6.0 Marshmallow will address many issues that may affect the smartphone for a long time.
We are also expecting that some of the improvements regarding touch control will also be implemented as well because many of the users have complaint with the issue of its touch features.
So keep in mind that the updates are rolled out OTA i.e. over the waves so it may take some time to reach all the devices in the country.Android 6.0 Marshmallow
