OPPO F1 review, pictures & first look: Oppo brings its latest entry-level smartphone named Oppo F1 in the market. It is first shown in London.  The smartphone aims at today’s selfie generation and also to combine great software and hardware together. Inspite being affordable, Oppo will stand out for its excellent camera and there’s no doubt about it. The look of the phone is similar to Oppo R7 is rose gold in colour and “2.5D” glass covers the front. The features include the legacy menu button with fixed capacitive buttons down below. Let us take a sneak peak on the different features of the phone that will captivate the customers.

CAMERA: The rear camera of the phone is of 13 Megapixel with ISOCELL sensor similar to Samsung that offers Phase Detection Autofocus and gives a focus time of just 0.1 seconds and an f/2.2 lens. It will further feature a range of filters along with OPPO’s own Pure Image camera platform. Among the various filters that are available, the one which customers might find interesting is the Ultra HD. It combines 4 images and condenses the data to make a 50 MP image. The secondary camera is of 8-Megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens. You can click selfies even in dark and it will produce some awesome crisp selfies. Oppo has taken a step ahead with expert mode for fine manual tuning, RAW capture and super macro.

SOFTWARE: to start with the software of Oppo F1, it includes the latest Qualcomm chipset and a processor of 1.7 GHz, an octa-core Snapdragon 616 with a skin of ColorOS 2.1. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and its ColorOS enables the phone a highly- customized flavour that favours elaborate icons, swooping animations and gradients. F1 is highly-themeable with various skins, graphics and wallpapers that are available for download.

HARDWARE: beneath the glass the display is a 720p IPS panel. But what makes the screen look impressive is the display which is 5-inches with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels along with Gorilla Glass for protection and 2.5D glass. It gives a RAM of 3 GB and inbuilt 16 GB, further expandable via MicroSD up to 128 GB. The phone performs speedy tasks. These features are quiet impressive for such a low priced phone. The phone is made up of premium materials and top class fabrics with a brushed metal finish.

CONNECTIVITY: the phone has various ways of connecting with other devices like Wi-Fi and the standards supported are 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth and it has dual sim system. The SIMS supports GSM, 3G, and 4G LTE in India.

SENSORS: the phone has some excellent sensor for example Proximity sensor, Gyroscope Compass/Magnetometer and Accelerometer.
