You probably are sitting there thinking to yourself that you thought this game was released a long time ago. That is because the game was announced way back in 2014, and back then the release date was supposed to be 2016. As with many games, the release date was pushed back quite a bit.

The game was supposed to be released last year as the second release date. That second release date was also delayed, which pushed the game back until this week. We are happy to tell you that there are no more push-backs on the release date and the game is officially here to download through Steam.

If you were one of the people who had pre-ordered the game, then you likely were playing in the closed beta. There was a closed beta going on for those who pre-ordered the game just last month, so it is really fresh out of the beta testing right now. Overkill’s The Walking Dead is also coming to other platforms, although other platforms will not get the game until 2019. The game will be coming out for Xbox One and the PS4 February 6. If you live in Europe, you will have to wait to play the game on Xbox One or PS4 until February 8.
