Uber Taxi now offers music to drivers with Pandora: In California the company announced on Monday that Ride-hailing giant i.e. Uber is now going to integrate online radio station i.e. Pandora into its app for the drivers for easy listening on trips.

The deal will give Uber a new perk to dangle to drivers and to strengthens Pandora’s presence in the key automotive market. The program begins on Monday in Australia, New Zealand and United States and for the first six months it will be offered without ads.
In the United States the move puts Pandora front and center for Uber’s 450,000 active drivers. For passengers and drivers Uber has been revamping its music experience. It already has a deal with the popular music streaming service Spotify and to allow the passengers to select music and to play during rides. The company is also preparing to re-launch that program with the Pandora offered as the another option for the passengers.
Last year, Uber said that is overhauled its app for the drivers and will make it easier to integrate the third parties such as Pandora.
Most of the Pandora’s audience listens to the service for free with the ads, but the Oakland California-based company is now preparing to launch an on-demand service.
The company said that during trips, Pandora will retain data about the music drivers to listen.
