Windows PC App Runs Android Apps

I know what the readers are thinking, the idea of running everyone’s favorite Android Apps on the PC seems extremely unlikely considering how different the two platforms are. Well thanks to the company known as American Megatrends they have decided to create a software that emulates an Android device on PCs so that users can use all of their android favorites like: Fruit Ninja, Doodle Jump, etc but it is not only for games but for other unique applications that are only available to Android. Windows PC could get a lot of attention due to this app that will try to revolutionize emulators. The PC has great potential to run Android apps once Project Astoria is finished by Microsoft to port Android apps to Windows, but until then this new emulator AMIDuOS (such a nice simple name for the program) will have to do for those who want to use their Androids on the Windows PC.

This is an image of what user's Windows PC will look like when they download AMIDuOS. It will have all the buttons that an Android has and it has its own personal background for the program.

What is this AMIDuOS?

In the past American Megatrends has created the BIOS software on PCs. The BIOS software is basically the basic software that controls pretty much controls the PCs involuntary actions ( the way we can think of it is like how humans breath involuntarily, this system helps run the interface smoothly). This application is similar to the Bluestacks people run on their computers to emulate phone apps on their computers. What happens is that this new program AMIDuOS pretty much creates an Android device on Windows PCs and then afterwards the applications can be run on the Android device emulator.

This image is an example of the AMIDuOS and an example of everyday life in which this software can be used.

For users that are interested the great part is that American Megatrends has made AMIDuOS Pro 2.0 a trialware so for 30 days users will not have to worry about purchasing this software if they do not like it (  which i doubt any will not like it because this is one amazing program). Before readers get ahead of themselves they must know there are some requirements, mostly having a PC with Virtualization Technology installed. This is because the Android emulator runs as a virtual OS rather than being an application run on the Windows PC operating system.

Why AMIDuOS is important

As Windows works on their actual Android app port to Windows PC American Megatrends provides a great and easy way for users to try out their Android applications on the PC. Of course it is probably not the best emulator out there but it is something ( I think that Bluestacks is probably the most popular one out there but the problem with it is that it requires a monthly subscription to use it). What is really remarkable is the very simple requirements and the easy setup for the entire Android emulator. The only thing is that when users download this software it will only include the Amazon App Store so they will have to go and download Google Play which is not difficult and still free.

Besides this there are simple updates that have to be made to the operating system. Practically American Megatrends is giving its users an Android tablet on a Windows PC computer. But of course they warn users that even though they are not being monitored to use the app legally and not give the company a bad reputation because of bad actions made with their program.

Overall, this app is really worth a try for those who own a Window PC that can possibly run the software. There is no commitment for the first 30 days so there is nothing to lose with giving it a try. The application runs quite smoothly after every app that users want is downloaded so it really gets the job done. In conclusion, those who are looking to use Android applications without investing in one of their phones should try this software out for free. Have fun!
