Xiaomi Mi Band 2 will going to launch on 10 May: At a conference in China, the CEO Lei Jun showed off the second edition of the popular mi Band in a photograph. In the market it is among the most affordable and efficient fitness trackers yet and the Mi Band 2 along with a round physical button will feature an LCD screen.

The new Mi Band 2 is expected to show the date, time, heart rate, calorie count and step count on the display. The device may also notifications for messages and calls. Following as the first generation model, this one will also allow users to unlock smartphones remotely. And also it would be interesting to see whether the Xiaomi adds support for music and call control on the Mi Band 2.
At an event in Beijing on May 10 the company will also going to introduce its Mi Max smartphone that will feature a 6.4-inch screen along with the MIUI 8 interface that is based on the Android Marshmallow operating system.
Xiaomi gave a glimpse about its new MIUI 8 in a short on YouTube video now showcasing the new integrated notification bar. The new interface seems to be continuing with the same icon designs which is available on the MIUI 7. It also seems that the shortcuts panel appears to be inspired by the Samsung TouchWiz UI.
The specs of the Mi Max smartphone are expected to be the similar with that of the Mi 5 which runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
