Youtube, Twitter, Facebook Face Hate Speech Complaints in France: On Sunday, the three French anti-racism associations would file legal complaints against the social networks i.e. Twitter, Google’s YouTube and Facebook for failing to remove the HATEFUL content that was posted on their platforms.

To take down the racist, anti-semitic or homophobic material and will tell the authorities about it.
But anti-homophobia campaigners SOS Racisme, French Jewish student’s union UEJF, SOS Homophobie and anti-racism said the three firms had removed only the fraction of 586 examples of the hateful content that the anti-racism groups has counted on their platforms between the end of March and 10 May.
According to the association YouTube removed only seven percent, Facebook 34 percent and Twitter only four percent.
The UEJF president Sacha Reingewirtz said in a statement that, in light of the Twitter, Facebook’s and Google profits and how the little taxes they pay and their refusal to invest in the fight against the hate is unacceptable.
Germany got Google, Twitter and Facebook to agree in December to delete the hate speech from their websites within the 24 hours.
